Depending on the state, we can save you between 50% and 90% on the cost of each class — and between 20 and 40% on the cost of your entire degree. Use our savings calculator to estimate your savings.
Nope! We’ll enroll you as what is called a transient student — you can take one class at another school without ever leaving or disrupting your regular education.
When the course is done, we will use the university account to send a transcript back to your home school, so the credit can be counted.
Finding classes takes only a few minutes. After an application is submitted, it usually takes 2-3 business days for the student to be accepted by the school.
Quottly brings together multiple points of data. We use articulation to determine which courses are transferable. We import the major requirements to determine which transferable courses count for your degree. And we get the class schedules from every school we target to determine which classes are actually being offered at convenient times.
We additionally bring in other data — course syllabi, professor reviews, and textbook price information — to help you make a more informed decision about what to take. This information doesn’t impact transferability, but it does help you know the true, total cost of their course and whether the course will be an enjoyable and educational experience.
Each university has a different process for approving transfer credit. In some cases, no pre-approval is necessary, in others, a course is transferable with advisor approval. We scrape each university’s website and have phone calls with their advisors so we know the procedure at every school we target. This enables us to let you fill out forms on the web, and then we can produce a PDF to email to the appropriate advisor, if necessary. You never have to leave Quottly to register and can complete the whole process online.
